About Us

Midway Dogs was born from a deep love of Chicago's iconic street food. Founder Bonita Allen, raised on the South Side of Chicago as the 10th of 12 siblings, brings the authentic flavors of the Windy City to Austin, Texas. Together with her husband James, originally from Detroit, they serve up Vienna beef hot dogs, Italian Beef sandwiches, Maxwell Street Polish sausage, and more — all made with the care and tradition that Chicago demands.
